King Kong in Melbourne

‘Now where did I leave my banana?’

Set to be one of the biggest openings in 2013, King Kong will feature a cast of more than 40 actors, singers, dancers and circus performers, and a team of puppeteers who will bring to life one of the most technologically advanced puppets in the world – a one-tonne, six-metre tall silverback gorilla.

Another huge draw of the show is set to be the music, with an incredible line up of bands and musicians, who have created music for the show, including the UK’s Robert Del Naja from Massive attack and Mercury Prize-winning Guy Garvey from Elbow.
